Now Listing For 2021!

13 Nov 2020

With only a few weeks left until the Christmas break, now is the time to start preparing your property for sale to be listed in the second week of January. The momentum we’ve seen this year has helped insulate the housing market from any negative impact from the coronavirus pandemic and property has been selling well with our team achieving 521 sales to date (up from 484 last year).

Sean Poche says, “It’s a savvy move to list in January with a February auction date as you’ll beat the bulk of stock that comes on to the market in March and early April. Fewer properties mean less competition and that your home will stand out and attract plenty of interest. Both REA and Domain record the most active property searches are in January each year and, with overseas travel still on the backburner, this year will undoubtedly be a record one for activity in the new year. The beginning of every year sees a new swathe of buyers enter the market and with interest rates still at record lows and government incentives fuelling the industry, it would be pertinent to take advantage of the buyer demand. The government stimulus packages will end in March and the impact of the effect of this is unknown. Our advice to clients is to get your property ready this year so you can hit the ground running in January to maximise the result.”

We already have 10 properties lined up ready to go for next year across the spectrum from a cute two bedroom cottage in Queens Park to a brand new luxury home in Woollahra and a four-bedroom apartment with ocean views in Bronte.

Take care, stay safe and keep connected.
