End Of Year Property Management Wrap

22 Nov 2021

This year has been a challenging one for property managers but we’re thrilled to report that our PM team has emerged stronger and busier than ever. In fact, the team has already smashed its yearly target and leased 550 properties since January 1st. This impressive result serves as testament to the team’s dedication, resilience and perseverance. Disruption to the status quo often leads to new and better ways of working and this is clearly the case with our property managers and leasing consultants who have embraced a renewed approach.

Head of Business Development Katrina Borg says, “Not only have we surpassed our yearly target but we’ve decided to raise the bar and aim even higher, so we’ve added an additional 50 and are now aiming to lease 600 properties by the end of 2021! We’ve emerged from the pandemic with a new perspective and have bonded to create an even closer team. Fundamental to our success was the fact that we took the lessons learned after the first lockdown onboard so, when the second

wave hit, we were all set up and ready to go. By having systems and procedures in place and a great synergy within the team, we’ve performed beyond expectation under the expert guidance of our department head, Racheal Beadman, who’s steered the ship admirably. Communication lies at the cornerstone of our growth and, by adapting to the challenges, we’ve built trust and strengthened retention while also on target to bring in 247 new properties to our portfolio which is a 41% increase on last year.”

On the sales front, it’s a similar story of hard work and determination that has resulted in the team securing the sale of more than 675 properties with a combined value of over $2 billion since the start of the year. Since January 1st, the team has met over 34,100 buyers and our auction clearance rate stands at a very healthy 97.8% with an average of 19 days on the market.

This week the sales team secured 18 sales with an average price of $3.7m and listed 21 new properties. Take care, stay safe and keep connected.
