Buy The Bronte Dream
It’s great to be back and as expected, the sales team have had a big start to the year with the launch of 54 new properties including a great choice of homes in Bronte from $3m to $10m. If you’re looking for a dream beach house while also giving back to the community, we’ve got you covered.
Our finance partner Shore Financial reported in December that there are still suburbs performing well despite the market downturn and identified Bronte as a key performer with prices continuing to rise last year and expected to grow another 6% in the first half of this year. Shore’s advice to buyers is to make a move and be quick about it as prestige homes in Bronte are snapped up quickly due to lower inventory and days on the market.
Alexander Phillips has just listed two beachside beauties with all proceeds of the sales supporting key educational programs and facilities at local schools. First up is 163 Macpherson Street, Bronte with commission proceeds from the sale donated to St Catherine’s School. Alexander sells a lot of homes in the beachside suburb but says that this three-storey home holds one of Bronte’s most spectacular vantage points with expansive uninterrupted views that sweep north over the full sweep of the beach out to Ben Buckler and the ocean that are probably the best he’s seen.
On the other side of beach, between Tamarama and Bronte, 7 Darling Street, Bronte is a stylish architect-designed family home on just under 500sqm with all proceeds from the sale supporting Bronte Public School.
Alexander and his team have also just listed two properties on Bronte Road, leading directly down to the sand and surf. With direct access to Bronte gully and the beach, 466 Bronte Road, Bronte is a private resort-style family entertainer on a sun-drenched 535sqm with gorgeous north-facing gardens and one of the best pools in Bronte. Just down the road and directly opposite the beach, 443 Bronte Road, Bronte is perched high on a sunny dual access block with northerly views over the surf club to the ocean with double parking via Gardyne Street.
Secluded from the street in a collection of four, 3/3-5 Murray Street, Bronte is an architecturally designed townhome that’s big on light, space and privacy in a tucked-away pocket just 300m to the gully path leading down to the sand and surf. With one of the biggest two-bedroom layouts in the landmark Bronte Place, 206/113 Macpherson Street, Bronte offers an impressive 141sqm on title with panoramic valley views and beautifully crafted interiors by celebrated designers SJB.
