Bronte P&C Trivia Night 2020

28 Aug 2020

You know spring is around the corner when the Bronte P&C Trivia Night billboards go up! This year, in true Bronte spirit, the community has rallied round to ensure the biennial fundraising show can go on. Licia Heath, President of the Bronte P&C, says, “2020 has been an extraordinary year and challenging for many. Our role at the P&C is to maintain a strong school community and fundraise for resources the school needs. In particular, keeping the community safe and maintaining wellbeing is a priority. Without the support of our Platinum sponsor, Alexander Phillips of PPD Real Estate, our ability to advertise our online trivia night to the broader eastern suburbs would be compromised. We’re grateful for their continued support to assist us in keeping our community strong and improving learning resources and facilities at the school.”

The event will be live streamed on Saturday 12th September from 8pm and PPD has provided five billboards to promote the very worthy cause. The GalaBid Silent Auction will open on Sunday 30th August; for tickets and further information visit www.brontepandc.com.

We have a choice of fantastic Bronte properties on the market, all of which are in the catchment area for Bronte Public School. Just 350m to the school gates, 17 Murray Street, Bronte is a spacious two-storey family home set on the high side of the street with a huge level garden that’s perfect for kids and a superb roof terrace on the upper level. It’s set on 460sqm approx with plenty of room for a pool, great potential and the added bonus of an invaluable double lock-up garage.

At the very top end, 14 Mirimar Avenue, Bronte holds an incredible elevated vantage point with unobstructed views across the full sweep of the beach to Mackenzies Bay. The cutting-edge five bedroom home features a north facing poolside entertainer’s haven and lift access from a five-car garage to all three levels. Alexander Phillips says, “This Mirimar masterpiece is set to smash the Bronte record as it really is a one-of-a-kind property that stands in a class of its own. The views are epic, the quality of the build is world-class and the interiors are breathtaking.”

New to the market this week, 3/500 Bronte Road, Bronte presents a rare opportunity to buy in the tightly held Eastcourt building fronting Bronte Park. Capturing ocean views from its idyllic setting, the renovated two bedroom apartment features direct access through the park to the sand and surf so the beach is virtually your backyard! Built in the early 1920s as seaside holiday flats, the landmark Eastcourt has been extensively upgraded and, with its remarkable setting, it’s little wonder that apartments in the building rarely trade.

Bronte has always been one of the most desirable places to live in the east and now, more than ever, demand for homes in the area is incredibly high. Last night, Alexander Phillips sold the award-winning contemporary home at 27 Evans Street, Bronte for circa $8.5m.

Take care, stay safe and keep connected.
