Bronte Bliss

6 Mar 2020

There’s good reason for Bronte’s status as one of Sydney’s most desirable suburbs. A beautiful beach, an all-embracing community and active outdoor lifestyle are all massive drawcards and then of course there are the fantastic cafes, top restaurants and great schools. After the downturn in the market last year, we’re seeing a lot of traction at the premium end in Bronte as the market bounces back. This month we’ve launched a range of high-end property in the beachside suburb from family sized townhouses to beach cottages and dream homes.

David Tyrrell has just listed a beachside home that’s perfectly positioned to enjoy the Bronte lifestyle. The current owners have lived all over the world, and in 30 homes, and 24 Tipper Avenue, Bronte is by far their favourite. When the couple made the move to Sydney, their dream was to feel the sand between their toes every day as well as a sense of community, ideally in a cul-de-sac setting. Tipper Avenue was a perfect find; a breezy stroll down to the beach and with a strong neighbourhood spirit and close-knit community. The couple built their dream home in 2008 taking full advantage of its commanding setting on one of the highest points in Bronte and designed to capture views that stretch from Bondi Beach all the way to the Maroubra Headland.

David says, “I could be biased as I grew up on this street, but it’s definitely one of the best in Bronte and homes rarely trade in this quiet pocket. There’s so much to love about the house from the design and feel to the incredible ocean views and it’s so close to the beach that it’s effectively your backyard. The property is presented in immaculate as-new condition and there’s scope to turn the huge basement workshop into a third living area or teen retreat.”
