With summer around the corner, our property management team is seeing a big jump in demand for coastal property. Spring is undoubtedly the best time to list a beachside property with higher than normal demand in the lead up to Christmas and the long summer break. Head of Property Management Rachael Beadman reports, “Summer is just one month away and we’re seeing unprecedented demand for our coastal properties at the moment. We leased six properties on Monday alone! It’s great to be able to provide a one-stop shop for clients as many of our landlords purchase property through the sales team and then transition them over to our management portfolio. With an average of 6.5 days on the market and a vacancy well below the Sydney average at 3%, it makes for a very streamlined and hassle-free service for clients.”

From a prospective tenant’s view, Rachael says there’s a superb range of current rentals available to suit all budgets from $395 a week right through to $3,000 a week across the eastern suburbs. Rachael continues, “If you’ve recently sold your property and still haven’t found your forever home, renting is a great option to get a feel for a different suburb or to bridge the gap while you search.”

The management team has had a busy month leasing 42 properties since the beginning of October. Rachael says, “We deal with around 1,500 enquiries and process close to 200 applications every month showing how high the demand is for homes in the east and near the coast.
